Internet sensation and pop/rock prodigy Greyson Chance, 13, of Edmond, is scheduled to appear live on QVC at 9 a.m. Sunday to unveil his much-anticipated debut album “Hold On ‘Til the Night.”
During the show, Chance will not only perform a selection of songs from his new CD but also offer fans the opportunity to pre-order the album, which has been specially-packaged with a bonus DVD, nearly a month before it hits stores, according to a news release.
Chance, who skyrocketed to super stardom last year after more than 40 million You Tube viewers watched his performance of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” at a choir event in his hometown of Edmond, is now signed to Ellen DeGeneres record label eleveneleven and recently completed his second nationwide tour.
His debut album “Hold On ‘Til the Night” was produced by The Matrix (Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Jason Mraz, Britney Spears), Billy Steinberg (Enrique Iglesias, Katherine McPhee, Miranda Cosgrove) and Ron Fair (Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Black Eyed Peas). The debut single “Waiting Outside the Lines” was recently the No. 1 physical single in the country for four straight weeks.
“Hold On ‘Til the Night,” with the bonus DVD featuring never-before-seen footage of Chance, will be available through QVC starting Saturday at www.QVC.com or (800) 345-1515.
Chance joins a long list of pop artists who have debuted their CDs on QVC including Justin Bieber, Charice, and more.
