Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were treated to ice creams by a fan.
The couple made a stop at Candy Kitchen in Bridgehampton, New York, last weekend for a cooling treat but as the 'Baby' singer went to pay he realized he didn't have any cash.
Luckily for the loved-up pair, another customer who was watching their dilemma unfold came to their rescue and lent Justin a few dollars to pay the cashier.
Perhaps, the 17-year-old pop superstar had run out of money because he and Selena, 18, had earlier spent over $700 at the nearby Flying Point Surf and Sports store.
A salesperson at the shop told HollywoodLife.com: "They were both really sweet, especially Selena. Justin kept calling Selena 'babe' and she had some nickname for him too, but I was too overwhelmed to remember what it was. But it was something really cute."
Justin was taking a break from recording his new album - the follow-up to his smash hit 'My World 2.0'.
The pop star recently revealed he is working on a new sound for the LP.
He said: "I want to work a lot with myself. I'm not gonna limit myself - I think music is music, and genre, I mean, there's country, rock, but my music is very different. My voice is not meant for any style."
